Little Loves

It's been a while since I've participated in any linkys and I feel like it's time to get back in the game. I've been loving having a read of various blogger's taking part in But Why Mummy Why's #LittleLoves linky and it seemed like the perfect one to join, as often I have lots of little bits through the week that I want to share but never feel they're worthy of their own post. So without further adieu, here's my Little Loves for this week...

Read
We're finally back up and running with the Internet again so this week has been all about catching up with my favourite blogs! I'm particularly loving Donna at What The Redhead Said view on World Book Day, Katie at Mummy Daddy Me giving a little update on life and Charlotte at Write Like No Ones Watching talking about wee ones hearing more than we realise they do.

Watched
Let's Play Darts for Comic Relief! If you don't know me in real life, you might be surprised to learn that I love darts, like love darts. I've never actually played darts but for the past 10 years or so I've loved watching them on the telly. I get excited every January when the World Championships at Lakeside is on and I dream of one day being there with my Dad and shouting, "180!!!" So when I seen they were doing Lets Do Darts for Comic Relief, I was delighted! Where I think most people will be watching it for the celebrities, I'm just loving seeing 'Wolfie', Booby & Richie George, and 'The Count' playing darts without the pressure of a championship. Such good fun, despite the lack of 180s!

Wore
Mainly work clothes but from the minute I get in at night, it's lounge trousers & scabby cardigans on! On days off its pyjamas until 1pm then whatever's clean(ish) and comfy.

Heard
"Be happy, be healthy and get well soon!" John has recently discovered Dr Ranj & Get Well Soon and it's safe to say the boy is obsessed! He's taken to sneaking away my iPad and watching it on repeat via BBC iPlayer. And of course, the songs are stuck in my head!

Made
Progress with the photo wall in our living room! It's been in major need of a makeover for a while now, with lots of photos piled up waiting on frames. I finally got around to organising new frames and it's now a case of getting The photos cut into said frames & repositioning the layout.

And lastly...
John moved up to the pre-school room at nursery! To say he was excited is an understatement. It's hard to believe that he's been in every room at nursery now and this will be the last move he makes before going to school. Now we just need to decide when that'll be: I'd love to hear from any Mum's in Scotland with January/February babies and what you're decisions are in terms of starting school at 4 or 5.

I hope you all had a lovely week and we'll see you back next week for more #LittleLoves!

  1. Thanks for the mention lovely :) Your clothing choices sound exactly the same as mine - mostly PJs unless I need to leave the house! x

  2. Welcome to Little Loves, so pleased that you've decided to join in. My youngest went through an obsession with Dr Ranj too, she was disappointed when she found out that he didn't work at our Drs surgery, ha! Have a lovely week xx

  3. Thanks for mentioning my post lovely! And that's a beautiful photo of you at the top. I would never have seen you as a darts lover- I used to play all the time with my cousin when I was younger- I was rubbish though! x

  5. Donna - No problem. I've been enjoying catching up with what the redhead's been saying ;)

Morgana - I'm quite excited by the concept of Little Loves! Already got a list of things to include this week! John's also a little disappointed Dr Ranj isn't our GP - as am I!

Katie - Thank you, lovely. I'm trying to do a few more selfies these days but always feel a bit silly! I've decided I'm gonna try hand at darts now but if I'm not amazing I'll be disappointed. I've always told myself it's my secret undiscovered skill - if I'm no good I'll be heartbroken! Haha!

Helen - Thabks for stopping by. John is still excited to tell everyone he's now in pre-school. It's very cute!
