Little Mister loves his Daddy.
I get up with John at 7am and we go to the living room. At 7.20am he’s looking at the living room door, waiting for Daddy to get up and come through, when he does, biggest smiles of the day!
The same happens at 5pm. He waits and waits. 5.30pm comes, Daddy walks through the door and he bursts into chatter.
It’s true what they say, “anyone can be a father but it takes someone truly special to be a Daddy.”
Iain’s forever on the floor with John, playing on his mat. He bounces John on his knee for hours, lets him ‘fly’ around the house, teaches him to ‘walk’ and has endless babbling conversations with him. He’ll avoid nappies like his life depends on it but he’ll never turn down the opportunity to give John his bath.
Best of all? Every night I go through to bed, they're curled up beside one another.
My misters.
