Rolling front-to-back at 11 weeks, standing upright with us just balancing him and pivoting in circles across the floor. And at a little short of 4 months he’s almost rolling back-to-front! He’s so close, his arm is just in the way. I give him a couple more days and he’ll be there.
Our Health Visitor came around today and was amazed by John’s progress. She said he’s doing things they wouldn’t even ask about until 6 months old. In fact, she thought he was nearly 6 months old, until she looked at his notes!
I’m encouraging John every step of the way; down on the floor with him trying to tempt him to roll over all the way over, letting him stand on my lap (all day!), giving him a lot of tummy time… And although I’m so excited to see him moving leaps and bounds, I still feel myself missing my teeny, fragile, helpless baby boy. Time goes too fast and I can’t believe he’s nearly 4 months old.
