In February, on the day that marked John turning 1 month old, we had a couple of very special visitors.
Our good friend's, Henry & Fiona, set off travelling the globe in March 2011 and shortly after they left we found out I was pregnant with John. Apart from a brief visit from them between Asia & South America, we didn't see them for a whole year.
They soon permanently settled in Australia so the only updates we could give throughout the pregnancy was via Skype, Viber and Facebook. And once they returned my 8 week bump had morphed into a 1 month old baby.
Iain was so excited for them to finally meet John, being the proud Daddy and all. And of course John was happy to oblige in lots of cuddles, even if the excitement did get a bit too much for him and he needed to take a wee chat nap on Henry. Although I'm sure Henry felt a bit more confident in holding a still, sleeping baby, rather than the overtired, grumpy boy that he experienced the next time he held John.
