Earlier this week Iain surprised me by announcing he’d gotten me a new lens for my birthday.
We’d talked about what I wanted for my birthday a few weeks before but I didn’t think he’d be able to afford it for a while yet. So when he text me to say he’d ordered my lens I assumed it would only be the 50mm 1.8 (the cheaper of the two I requested) but in actual fact he had ordered me the 50mm 1.4! Boy did good.
I’m still getting used to it, seeing as I’ve only really worked with my 18-55mm kit lens before but I’m already in love
