Our Daddy's Day was spend doing what Daddy loves best - watching the downhill mountain biking at Innerleithen.
It was Jayfest at Innerleithen this weekend so the place was very busy, however there wasn't a great deal of mountain biking going on -- it seemed as though everyone was enjoying the atmosphere and entertainment at the bottom of the hill, as opposed to riding down it on their bikes. That didn't matter though, John still found a way to entertain himself; namely, throwing stones into the river, lovingly taught how-to by Daddy.
It was lovely being able to watch my boys trekking through the woods hand-in-hand, playing with dandelions and John contently watching the river splash as he threw rock after rock in -- and of course smiling the most when Daddy threw a humongous rock in which created the biggest splash of all.
And the day wouldn't have been complete without giving John the opportunity to chase some sheep, so we stopped the car on our way home to let him indulge. I can't think of a better way to spend our Sunday.

How did you spend your Fathers Day? Was it spent chasing sheep like us, or something more conventional?
Sounds like a nice, laid back day! Love the pictures.
