Last Saturday we took a trip to The Royal Highland Show. Iain had managed to get us a couple of tickets and he thought it'd be a great day out for John. He was right! John had a great time, particularly enjoying being able to get up close and personal to the farm animals. Despite the fact he arrived in need of a nap (& finally gave in and slept in the buggy after a bit of persuasion) he was on good form, walking the majority of the show and being very well behaved along the way.
John's favourite part of the show was probably seeing the duckling in the pond or having his lunch sat on his Daddy's knee. Oh, that and being able to see the planes taking off from the airport. My favourite part was obviously the food, especially the bag of candy floss eaten in the car home!
And of course John fitted right in with all the farmer types, looking extremely dapper in his Barbour-style jacket!
