Cupcakes & Cute New Clothes.

Tuesday was our 20 week scan. I'd been panicking about this day for weeks so decided to order some cupcakes to make the morning of anticipation a bit more bearable. I chose six cupcakes from Cuckoo's Bakery and had them delivered to our home address -- I went for two Black Bottom cupcakes, a Gluten-free Carrot, a Vanilla Vanilla, a Raspberry & White Chocolate and a Chocolate Chocolate. The Black Bottom was by far the tastiest but all of them were pretty delicious (I didn't eat them all myself - honest!).

After a morning of indulging my sweet tooth, it was soon time to bite the bullet and head to our scan appointment. Thankfully, everything went well. Baby has all the bits & pieces they're meant to and their measurements appear to be healthy. Nothing to worry about after all!

To celebrate we went shopping and bought John & baby a new outfit each. John's being very appropriate for his impending big brotherhood...

And then there's the outfit for this little baby. Again, very appropriate given the days events...

Yup! That's right! John's going to be a big brother to his very own little brother. Two boys under two. Let the fun and exhaustion commence!

Have you tried Cuckoo's cupcakes? Which is your favourite? And more importantly, was your gender prediction correct?

    1. Thank you Beth! I come from a family of 3 girls and I clearly remember my Mum pulling her hair out at times! I think it's also why I'm so happy to have boys - I know what girls can be like. Haha!
