Ordinary Moments

baby toddler reflection in the mirror

We all know when your toddler disappears to their room and all you can hear is silence, you need to be suspicious. But when they disappear to their room and you hear is hysterical laughter, you know it's time to grab your camera!

Earlier this week, John took his morning biscuit and trotted off to his room to play. Nothing unusual; he quite often scuttles away to play quietly on his own. This time however, all I could hear was him laughing and chatting away to himself. What I had forgotten was, that earlier that morning I'd moved the mirror from our bedroom into John's in preparation for swapping our bedrooms around. And John was very pleased with this discovery! He spent a good half hour sitting laughing and talking to his reflection - finding it particularly amusing when Mummy's reflection made an appearance too.

Inspired by a few of my favourite bloggers, this week I'm taking part in Mummy Daddy Me's {The Ordinary Moments}. Be sure to visit all the other participants contributions and join in yourself by clicking here.
