Today was a day for achieving things around the house. The kitchen is now painted, the new drawers are in the bedroom and the bathroom is lovely & clean. My to-do list is still massive but it's slowly going down. And thankfully John has been on form, playing away quietly & contently, only occasionally interrupting for a "cuggle?".
We had considered taking him out to watch some of the local fireworks but after a brief search online it appeared everyone is holding out until the 5th of November to host their displays. However we did catch a view of some fireworks in the distance from our window, which fascinated this curious little boy and we were harassed by a chorus of "more, more, more!" when they did finish.
A lovely end to a productive weekend.
Aww - Kitty still asks for cuggles too, it's one of the words I can't quite bring myself to correct!
