Continue to make our house a home. From little things like printing some up-to-date photos, to getting a new mattress for the bed - one free from springs determined to escape! By the end of 2014 I want to have our house perfect - the way I picture it whilst laying in bed at night!
Couch to 5K. If finances would allow, I'd have myself a fitness membership, letting me go to whichever fitness class, or for a swim, whenever I like. But unfortunately with two kids & now being on maternity pay, finances simply don't allow so instead I plan to give the Couch to 5K a go. Not only with the aim of being a little fitter & healthier but also giving me some much desired me-time. Once I get started I plan to document my progress here too, so if anyone fancies joining me, please do let me know!
Continue to work on my finances. 2013 was the first year I was really aware and particularly careful with my finances. There's still debts to pay off & plenty of other areas of spending to work on but I plan to continue the positive progress throughout 2014. The long term plan is be debt free & saving for a house in the next 5 years. Small steps & all that...
Take more photos. My family will be screaming, "Moooore?? As if she doesn't take enough already!" But the only way I'm ever going to improve in the photography stakes is to keep on practising. In 2013 I finally felt like I grew a little more understanding of my camera & even managed to start moving away from Auto but in 2014 I want to gain even more knowledge and start to step out my comfort zone a little bit more.
What's your opinion on New Years Resolutions? Do you have any?
I'd love to be able to do the couch to 5k, i can't even run up the stairs without feeling like i'm going to die though. I might attempt it this year though! Scary.
ReplyDeleteDo it Amy!! We can cheer one another on!

DeleteIt's going to be a big year for "house perfect" in our house too this year as we're hoping to almost double the size of our house with an extension - eek!
ReplyDeleteGood luck!

Good luck with the extension! My parents had one done when I was younger. Took what felt like forever but so worth it in the end. xo
