3 Months.

I say it every month... Time is going too quickly. I cannot believe David has been with us for 3 months now. That being said, I can't quite believe he's only 3 months old either. He's been referred to as "old before his time", which I can agree with. So alert & so strong, not to mention massive! 15lbs 9oz and following the 91st percentile! Still in 3-6 months clothes - and not because they actually fit but because I'm choosing to ignore the squished-in toes as he can't go into 6-9 months clothes just yet.

He's such a contented wee soul. Wherever we are, whatever we're doing, he simply sits back & watches the world happening around him. And those smiles. From the moment his eye flutter open in the morning until the minute he drifts off to sleep at night, his face has a permanent grin. He's actually quite goofy looking a lot of the time! Long gone are his newborn looks - it seems like they only lasted a few days. Now though Daivd looks more & more like John each day, I think it's the eyes.

He's also discovered his hands. Often I look over to see his gaze fixated on his chubby fingers in front of him, a look of utter amazement & perplexity across his squishy face. We're also at the drooly stage now too, so bibs are a must to avoid numerous spit soaked outfits a day. No sign of teeth but at the rate he's growing, they can't be far away.

  6. Coming by Babies and Beyond Link-Up. Your wee boy is SO beautiful. He looks very happy and content. My son was called an "old soul" too and was also a big boy, always wearing clothes way bigger than his age. Gotta love them!
