Matching.

"I can't believe you used to dress us the same. I'll never do that with my kids." Whoops... I criticised my Mum for years for dressing my sisters and I in the same outfits. Why did she ever think it was a good idea? Well, now I understand.

Because it's freaking cute, that's why! Two siblings, of two years apart, wearing two outfits [nearly] the same. What's not to love? Iain may still think its cruel but I can honestly say that from now on, I'll be buying matching clothes for these two boys.

I've absolutely no doubt they'll look back at photos one day and ask me why I did it, just like I do with my Mum. But then that's what being a parent's all about! And I'm pretty sure my criticism towards my Mum was in fact down to her choosing to dress us in frilly, flowery teddy bear outfits, complete with matching skin-tight shorts, rather than the fact we were actually dressed the same!
