And last week there was a moment I never want to forget. David had woken from his afternoon nap and I popped him onto the living room floor to change his nappy. I briefly left the room and came back to find John on the floor in front of him; David's vest undone, nappy off, John wiping his bum, with Sudocrem & nappy bag beside him. People joke when you say you're having another baby that you should teach the eldest to change nappies - never did I think John would, could, or would even want to! And he was so proud; David so content.

That story about the nappy is just lovely - boys are so caring x
ReplyDeleteMy Mum (who has 3 daughters) has always said she's surprised by just how caring wee boys are. I'm going to soak it up for now as I know in a few years they'll be kicking & punching one another on a daily basis... xo
DeleteWowee - well done John (and more importantly - does he give lessons to other toddlers!)
ReplyDeleteHaha! That would be great, eh? I think if David wasn't so big he'd be happy to carry him around & bath him too! xo
DeleteThey look so perfect and content together. Their brotherly love can only grow. Gorgeous boys x
ReplyDeleteI sure hope so, Donna! xo
