Siblings #6.

These two are now incomplete without one another. On John's nursery days, David spends the entire day with his eyes searching for his entertaining big brother. And when David naps, John continuously asks for him, rushing through to greet him the moment he wakes. John will do anything to make David laugh & David happily puts up with whatever his brother does to him.

And last week there was a moment I never want to forget. David had woken from his afternoon nap and I popped him onto the living room floor to change his nappy. I briefly left the room and came back to find John on the floor in front of him; David's vest undone, nappy off, John wiping his bum, with Sudocrem & nappy bag beside him. People joke when you say you're having another baby that you should teach the eldest to change nappies - never did I think John would, could, or would even want to! And he was so proud; David so content.

    1. My Mum (who has 3 daughters) has always said she's surprised by just how caring wee boys are. I'm going to soak it up for now as I know in a few years they'll be kicking & punching one another on a daily basis... xo

    1. Haha! That would be great, eh? I think if David wasn't so big he'd be happy to carry him around & bath him too! xo
