I know it's had at least two previous owners and despite being in good overall condition, it showed a little wear & tear. The handle bar was a bit worse for wear, the wheels needed a bit of TLC and the whole buggy needed a little clean. So I set to work.
First up was a good wee clean. Buggies can be a bit awkward as it's not
Next up was some little repairs and extras added here & there. I got a new handle bar cover from eBay to replace the battered, little-worse-for-wear one that was already attached. I tightened up the screws and replaced the threadbare tyres & inner tubes. And after trying it out with my usual Pink Lining Changing Bag, I quickly realised it wasn't ideal for everyday use with this particular buggy - unless I really wanted to knock David out - so I bought the Skip Hop Buggy Organiser to store our essentials in whilst out & about.

The biggest transformation was the seat liners I put together. Overall, the Phil & Teds Sport is a bit of an eyesore, particularly when it's already had a bit of loving, so I decided to make some colourful seat liners to liven it up a bit using this pattern and some of my favourite Riley Blake fabrics. I'm more than chuffed with how they turned out and they definitely make a somewhat 'passed it' buggy seem a bit more bright & colourful! Plus, rainbow moustaches are definitely my kind of thing.
