His imagination is developing. It's fascinating to watch. From making engine & siren noises as he plays with his cars, too creating invisible roads that cross the coffee table, climb the walls & jump to the TV.
He disappears to his room and I can hear him play, building houses from Duplo, complete with a fenced garden for the dog. And the recent obsession with insects includes pretending that the top off tomatoes are spiders, blowing them across the floor to chase after. I can't wait to see where his imagination leads him next.

He's gorgeous. I can't wait for my boy to play and be imaginative. He already picks up my phone and pretends someone is talking to him. Children's imaginations are such a special thing aren't they :) #LivingArrows

John loves to pretend he's on the phone too! Except now when someone is on the phone he gets confused by not being able to see them as he's gotten so used to FaceTime. xo
DeleteWe are currently seeing Luca's imagination develop a bit more quickly now and it's such a magical and wonderful thing to witness. Gorgeous picture of him clearly lost in his own little world and having fun. #livingarrows
ReplyDeleteIt really is magical, Franki. I could happily watch him play away all day. xo
DeleteAwww he's so handsome Amy. Riley's at the same stage, it's wonderful when they're imagination starts working isn't it? He can't push a car around without a 'nee naw' siren or a train without a 'choo choo'. xxx

We get choo-choo too! I love how our boys are developing at the same stages, So nice to hear someone else is going through the same - good & bad! xo
DeleteI love when they start to create little stories and make believe car tracks across the furniture. They imagination taking over. It's so bittersweet to watch. It's their creative side popping out so cute. #livingarrows
ReplyDeleteEverything is a track for cars now! One of his absolute favourite 'tracks' is the shop windows as we walk along the High Street. xo
DeleteThat photo is gorgeous, the look of concentration on his face is amazing! He looks like he was doing car noises :) x
ReplyDeleteThanks, Donna. Play time is never quiet now! xo
DeleteThe look on his face is priceless, such lovely little lips too (jealous face). My two always have their tongues out when they concentrate. Beautiful picture :) #livingarrows
ReplyDeleteWe do get the tongue out too from time-to-time but that's usually on crafty activities! Painting always equals tongue-out concentration.
DeleteI love it when my son is doing this as well. I dont bug him so that his mind can have all the time it needs to create stories =) #livingarrows
ReplyDeleteIt's always more fun to sneak in and watch than it is to disturb them! xo
DeleteAw this is gorgeous, I love the perspective you have gone for her. x
ReplyDeleteThank you, Katie :)
DeleteHere even! ;) x
ReplyDeleteHe has the most divine eyelashes! What a lovely photo of such a perfect moment of play.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sally. He's forever getting complimented on his long, long lashes! xo
DeleteHe is gorgeous! Love how their imagination lead them to play and build things! x
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for the days when he comes through to tell me he's built a spaceship or castle. It's just fascinating to see where his imagination takes him. xo
