Everyday I'm amazed by this kid.
I still struggle with the concept that I created this mini human. Each day it seems like he learns something new. Saying "ta" when you hand him something, clambering on & off the sofa, grabbing his nose, toes & willy (ha!) when you ask him where they are, eating his banana straight from the skin, climbing the stairs with no hesitation, attempting to put his socks on & brushing his hair...
He cruises around the house like he owns the place, causing destruction as he goes. On occasion he'll stop for a cuddle and kiss before going from room to room, checking things are still in order.
We're still waiting on the obvious milestones to happen -- first real words and first unassisted steps. But based on everything he can already do, I know these will happen in due time. For now though I will enjoy being able to catch him before he learns to run and the peace & quiet before he shouts "Maaaaam!!"
