They'll have each others back, always there to defend one another, then roughing up each other just moments later. They'll laugh at me between themselves whilst I despair at their sarcastic attitudes & boy-like 'charms'. Even now, it's impossible to tell off John for being too rough with David because David just laughs at everything his big brother does.
They're a pair. John still asks for David first thing in the morning and is the first through the door the moment he hears him waking from his naps. David smiles & coos when John bounds up to the buggy after nursery and generally searches his eyes throughout the house when John's not there, waiting for his big brother to pounce on him as he normally does. David keeps his best smiles for his big brother & John keeps his stones, teddies & cuddles for his little brother. Two brothers, two boys, my babies.
